A Sunday in December, I receive a message on my facebook page, Samantha wrote to me, an English girl who wanted to get married in Sicily. Initially Sam asked me some information on the possible organization of her wedding in Sicily and after a week, i’m very happy to have been chosen  wedding planner and so I started planning and organizing the wedding.

Samantha & Dave, a couple of English artists, she a singer and he guitarist, chose Sicily as their wedding destination because they loved Commissario Montalbano and the series Tv, notorious all over the world. the wedding set? the most famous places in the fiction tv, a true full immersion.

Ragusa, Scicli, Modica, Comiso, Vittoria, Ispica and Santa Croce are the Municipalities that, together with many private residences, have enriched, with their architectural beauty, the scenography of the 20 episodes of the successful television series il “Commissario Montalbano”, which is a concentrate of colors , flavors and traditions typical of Sicily.

Samantha & Dave wanted theirs to be an intimate wedding.They told relatives and friends to leave on vacation and spend two weeks in Sicily. , keeping their  secret wedding. Returning to London from the “romantic getaway”, they would have given the happy news and organized a party.

I loved the style and the original look of this couple. Samantha, the bride;  remembered me of a smiling and cheerful pin up, the hairstyle, the red-hearted shoes by Vivienne Westwood, the red belt that highlighted its shapes and added a touch of color to the bridal dress and finally the accessories: the leopard bag with lipstick clips and big sunglasses to made her a true Diva from the 50′.

The style of Dave, the groom, was more classic in clothing, very elegant in his gray dress; dark glasses, rings and earrings showed his tendency as a rock artist.

The civil wedding was organized at the town hall of Santa Croce Camerina.

The ceremony was one of my favorite moments; mine was a double role: wedding planner and witness. When Samantha and Dave asked me to be one of their witnesses, I was full of joy. Seeing their eyes getting lost in each other was exciting. In the Mayor ‘s room  could feel a great love, their.

After the toast, the photo shoot realized in some of the most beautiful places where the famous fiction was set the “Commissario Montalbano”

And at the end of the evening, an enveloping atmosphere and a romantic candlelit dinner: the location? The Commissario Montalbano’s terrace, an intimate and perfect place for a special evening. Lots of little candles lit the background creating a special atmosphere, the background music and the enchanting starry sky ,the unique scenery to get them excited.
